Save the Date: Virginia Helicopter Association's 20th Anniversary Helicopter Day

The VHA is excited to officially announce plans for the Virginia Helicopter Association's 20th Anniversary Helicopter Day. The event will take place at KJGG on Oct 3rd, 2026 throughout most of the day. A backup 'rain date' of Oct 10 is also scheduled. This is an event for everyone! 

For VHA's Helicopter Day, expect:

- Lots of Static display helicopters from various organizations, companies, and individuals

- Aviation education content for helicopter professionals, as well as the general public

- Kid-friendly activities including seeing helicopters up close!

- The return of the 'Helicopter Olympics'! A fun challenge that tests pilot's skills and offers a fun viewing experience for those on the ground. 

- Helicopter rides

- A great event to fly-in to!

- ...and more!

We're super thankful to have the support and assistance of the team at the Waltrip Williamsburg Executive Airport that put on their great KJGG Open House in 2025. Expect us to have plenty of additional information as time goes on, but start spreading the word now!
