Our next regularly scheduled VHA meeting will take place at a different location than usual, the Hampton Roads Helicopters office!
This meeting will feature a guest speaker from the Aviation Weather Center, Senior Forecaster Alan Hickford. Alan will be giving a presentation on Helicopter-specific weather topics via Zoom from the Aviation Weather Center. After the presentation will be ample time for Q&A. All members are encouraged to attend, as this meeting should have some really useful information for your day to day helicopter operations!
As usual, this meeting will also be streamed via Zoom, so anyone can tune in for this presentation, even if unable to make it to KPVG. Click for Zoom Information
As for more meeting logistics, please arrive on time around 11am if you'd like to get food. We'll have the airport's local food truck, Rogue Food Company, coming over to take food orders/payment near the beginning of the meeting, and then the food will be delivered when ready. See the menu here
Hampton Roads Helicopters' street address is 5196 W Military Highway in Chesapeake VA, 23321. There should be ample vehicle parking out front. For those flying in to KPVG, proceed to the west ramp (circled in red), and park in the shown area. Please park towards the larger hangars, leaving the lane to the SW clear for other aircraft to taxi. DO NOT block the T-hangars exits.
